80: How to get testimonials and what to do with them
Friend, if you are not asking for testimonials from your former clients you are missing out! I know this could be scary, and your impostor syndrome might kick in and tell you not to do it, but believe me, you want to do this! Your business needs this.
Let me explain:
Whenever we are about to enter into a financial transaction, whether it is eating out at a new restaurant or staying in a hotel the first thing we do is look for reviews.
We want to hear from a third party their thoughts on their own experience! We want to know if they had a good time because if they did chances are we will too!
The same applies to your photography business! Future clients want to double-check that what you claim on your website is true, and that’s a good thing because once they read your testimonials they will see that your business is honest and trustworthy.
So in today’s episode I cover all the aspects as to why you need testimonials, how to get them, when to ask for them and what to do with them once you receive them!
